Politics is the main issue in a country. There has been much discussion whether school students should join politics or not. The subject of politics must be discussed at first very reasonably so we can decide whether we, student should take part or not.
During the Ram rule, no students got changed to study at schools & campuses except the ram’ family members if somebody wanted to study, they would be punished and hands or leg were cut by the cruel officials of the despotic Rams. When the Rams were wiped out and Nepal was independent, all of us got rights of study. Slowly, democracy has been flourished in our country and student are active in politics. Somebody says that man duty of student is to study hard but they must not join in politics. Some says, “Everything is useless without freedom, education can wait but freedom. If some students join the political movement, it will gain additional strength.”
Now, we don’t have to fight against the Rams or Panchayat rulers. Under the Panchat system, student took part in the politics. There were more organizations of student in Panchayat system. The main organizations of students ‘ALL Nepal National free student union, Nepal student union, free student mandal. ANFSU was related to communism, NSU was with congress and mandal was the organization of Panchayat rulers. ANFSU & NSU used to fight against panchayati ruler and mandal was against the two organizations so that there was a conflict among them. ANFSU & NSU jointly worked for the same aim. They were able to make revolution and democracy was established.
